This list is not exhaustive, as there may be additional services we can provide, so please just ask.

Do I own copyright of the work produced?

Upon the completion of full payment, the ownership of all copyrights associated with the project is fully and unconditionally transferred to the client. This means that the client assumes complete and exclusive rights to utilize, reproduce, modify, distribute, and publicly display the work created, without any limitations or restrictions.

However please note that if stock images are used in the design project, the ownership and rights to these images remain with the respective copyright holders. While the client will have the right to use the design incorporating these stock images, it is important to abide by the terms and conditions set by the stock image provider. This typically includes restrictions on reselling or distributing the stock images themselves. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure compliance with these terms and to acquire proper licenses for any stock images used beyond the scope of the design project.

DISCUSS

First, we engage in a conversation where we discuss your needs and business goals. We believe in a collaborative approach, valuing your input and insights.

Next, we kindly request that you complete a brief based on your business. This allows us to gain a comprehensive understanding of your objectives and aspirations for the project. By providing detailed information in the brief, you help us create a design that effectively communicates your message and aligns with your brand identity.

Upon establishing that Noor Creative is the right choice for your project, we proceed by preparing a detailed proposal for your review and approval. This proposal outlines the specific services we will provide, along with any additional pertinent information such as project timelines and milestones.

We carefully craft the proposal to ensure that it accurately reflects our understanding of your requirements and objectives. It serves as a comprehensive document that sets clear expectations for both parties involved.

Once your proposal has been approved, we promptly reserve your spot and secure your booking. At this stage, you will receive a Statement of Services outlining the details of the agreed-upon services, along with an invoice for the initial 50% booking fee.

The Statement of Services serves as a formal confirmation of the scope of work, ensuring that both parties have a clear understanding of the services to be rendered. Simultaneously, the invoice for the booking fee allows you to proceed with the payment, securing your place in our project queue.

By providing you with these documents, we aim to streamline the administrative process, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional results for your project.

Our research encompasses a comprehensive analysis of your target audiences, enabling us to gain valuable insights into their preferences, needs, and behaviors. Additionally, we examine your competitors to understand their visual strategies and positioning within the market.

Furthermore, we explore any other relevant factors that may contribute to the design process. This may include industry trends, cultural references, or specific design requirements.

CONCEPTS

Upon conducting thorough research and analysis based on the brief you provide, we collaboratively develop design concepts that encompass your unique requirements and align with your business objectives.

Utilizing our collective creativity and expertise, we craft visually compelling concepts that effectively communicate your message and reflect the essence of your brand.

Once the design concepts are ready, we present them to you for proofing and feedback. We value your input in this stage, as it allows us to refine and enhance the designs based on your preferences and suggestions.

Technical Questions

What is the difference between CMYK and RGB?

CMYK printing uses a combination of four ink colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to reproduce colors on paper. These inks have a limited gamut, meaning they cannot reproduce the same range of colors as RGB displays. As a result, some vibrant and saturated RGB colors may appear less vibrant when printed in CMYK.

Additionally, electronic displays emit light to create colors in RGB, while printed materials rely on reflected light. The brightness and intensity of colors on a screen may differ from how they appear on paper due to variations in screen settings, lighting conditions, and color calibration.

To minimize these discrepancies, it is important to ensure proper color management and calibration throughout the design and printing process. Designers can use color profiles and proofing techniques to simulate how the colors will appear in print and make necessary adjustments to achieve the desired result.

It is also worth noting that different printers, printing techniques, and paper types can affect color reproduction. Working closely with a professional printer and providing them with accurate color specifications can help achieve more consistent and accurate color results in the final printed materials.

What is the difference between a Vector and Raster image?

Vector and raster images are two different types of digital image formats, each with its own characteristics and applications.

Vector images are created using mathematical equations and geometric shapes such as points, lines, and curves. These images are resolution-independent, which means they can be scaled up or down without losing quality. Vector graphics are composed of objects and can be edited and manipulated as individual elements. Common file formats for vector images include SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics), AI (Adobe Illustrator), and EPS (Encapsulated PostScript). Vector images are suitable for logos, icons, illustrations, and designs that require scalability and flexibility.

Raster Images: Raster images, also known as bitmap images, are made up of a grid of individual pixels. Each pixel in a raster image contains specific colour information, collectively forming the image. Raster graphics are resolution-dependent, meaning they have a fixed number of pixels and their quality degrades when scaled up. Common file formats for raster images include JPEG, PNG, and TIFF. Raster images are suitable for photographs, complex graphics, and designs that require intricate details.

Why can't I open the source files?

If Noor Creative has provided you with source files, these files are specific to professional design software such as the Adobe Suite. As a result, you will require compatible software, such as Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop, to open and work with these files effectively. The design files may not be compatible with standard or non-professional software applications.

Can you explain the different file formats?

Design files can come in various formats, each with its own characteristics and intended use. Here are explanations of some common design file formats:

  1. AI (Adobe Illustrator): AI is the native file format for Adobe Illustrator, a vector-based design software. AI files preserve all the editable vector information, allowing for easy scalability and modification of the design elements. These files are ideal for logos, illustrations, and graphics that require flexibility and scalability.
  2. PSD (Adobe Photoshop): PSD is the native file format for Adobe Photoshop, a raster-based image editing software. PSD files retain layers, effects, and other editable elements, making them suitable for complex photo editing, digital artwork, and compositions. However, they are resolution-dependent and may lose quality when scaled.
  3. INDD (Adobe InDesign): INDD is the native file format for Adobe InDesign, a professional desktop publishing software. InDesign is widely used for designing layouts, such as brochures, magazines, books, and print publications. INDD files preserve the layout, typography, and formatting of the document, including text, images, and graphics. They allow for precise control over page elements, such as margins, columns, and styles. INDD files can be edited and exported to various formats, including PDF and print-ready files, making them suitable for professional print production.
  4. PDF (Portable Document Format): PDF is a widely used file format that maintains the design elements, layout, and formatting across different devices and operating systems. PDF files can contain both vector and raster graphics, making them suitable for sharing documents, printing, and preserving the visual integrity of the design.
  5. EPS (Encapsulated PostScript): EPS is a versatile file format that can contain both vector and raster graphics. It is commonly used for print and publishing purposes, as EPS files can be opened and edited by various design applications. They are particularly useful for high-quality printing and creating vector-based graphics.
  6. SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics): SVG is a web-standard vector image format that is resolution-independent and can be scaled without losing quality. SVG files are suitable for web design, logos, icons, and interactive graphics, as they can be easily manipulated using CSS and JavaScript.
  7. JPG/JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group): JPG is a common image format used for photographs and complex graphics. It is a compressed format that sacrifices some image quality to reduce file size. JPG files are widely supported and suitable for web use, but repeated editing and saving can lead to loss of image quality.
  8. PNG (Portable Network Graphics): PNG is a lossless image format that supports transparency. It is commonly used for web graphics and designs that require a transparent background. PNG files maintain high image quality and can be compressed without significant loss, making them suitable for both web and print use.
  9. Figma: Figma is a collaborative design tool that allows for the creation of interactive and responsive designs. Figma files (with .fig extension) contain design assets, layouts, and interactive components that can be easily shared and collaborated on in real-time. Figma is widely used for web and user interface (UI) design, prototyping, and design system creation. Figma files can be accessed and edited directly within the Figma application or via a web browser, making it a convenient choice for collaborative design projects.

These are just a few examples of design file formats, and the choice of format depends on the specific requirements of your project and its intended use.
